ICellAccessibility interface Core

The cells of a data row for assistive technology: what each one is called, what it says, and what a reader may do with it (edit, toggle, press). The grid's accessibility layer phrases the sentences and routes the actions; the template only answers per cell.

The cell axis is the template's own. A table offers its layout columns. A card offers the elements of its composition — the grid column of a card wall is only where the card wrapped, so the elements are what a reader can walk.

Items are data rows only: the grid never asks about a group header or a detail band.

Properties

AccessibleCellCount

int AccessibleCellCount { get; }

Number of cells a data row offers.

CellsShareSlot

bool CellsShareSlot { get; }

Whether all cells of an item live inside its ONE slot (a card: the slot is the item, the cells are its elements). False (default) = cell i is layout column i, as in a table.

Methods

AccessibleCellAt

AccessibleCell AccessibleCellAt(int cell);

What the cell is (0 <= cell < ICellAccessibility.AccessibleCellCount).

AccessibleCellBox

LogRect? AccessibleCellBox(object item, int cell, double slotWidth, double slotHeight);

The cell's box inside the item's slot, slot-local — for templates whose cells share one slot (a card). Null = the cell is the whole slot.

AccessibleTextOf

string AccessibleTextOf(object item, int cell);

What a screen reader speaks for the cell of this item. May run application delegates; the caller reports a throw and narrates the cell as empty.

ToggleStateOf

bool ToggleStateOf(object item, int cell);

The checked state of a checkbox cell of this item.
